The boardwalk take you across a pond towards a small mountain that is actually a giant sand dune. The trail ends at an amazing beach. The Tlaqatik Trail and Havre Saint Pierre Trail loop around farm fields that overlook St. Peter's Bay. WebOct 1, 2024 · A full dune closure remains in effect for PEI National Park. Visitors must not walk over dunes for any reason. Repairs, remediation work and planning for the 2024 operational season and beyond are ongoing. Parks Canada will communicate updates and plans for other locations in the coming months.
